Earth Day will take place on the 22nd of April (Mon). Â Millions of individuals and businesses around the world will be bringing attention to issues of sustainability and climate crisis + making a stand towards a more sustainable future.Â
This year's theme is Planet v Plastics . It highlights the fact that 380 million tones of plastic are now produced every year – while only 9% of plastic ever produced has been recycled. We put together topical causes for merchants to support this Earth Day  + other ways to share your message.Â

Ocean Bound Plastic Offsetting
$1.57 (£1.3) removes 1kg of certified ocean-bound plastic
Virtue works with a number of offsetting partners across the world to clean up certified ocean-bound plastic. Depending on the project supported, offsetting activities can include; beach cleaning efforts, river plastic capture, and other offsetting measures earlier in the supply chain.
