Mother Teresa of Calcutta Medical Center is a state-of-the-art multi-specialty medical center in San Fernando, Pampanga in the Philippines. It has started with 100 beds and now is gradually increasing and developing not only their facilities but their hospital systems as well.

Last February 23, 2018 management of the Calcutta Medical Center signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) on Sustainable Healthcare Waste Management with Health Care Without Harm Asia led by its Global Green and Healthy Hospitals Program.

This MOA signing came after the Sustainable Healthcare Waste Management Orientation given by the GGHH Team and Engr. Jose Barsaga of the Philippine Heart Center.

Ultimately, the activity and the MOA signing aims to strengthen the ties between HCWH, GGHH and the Calcutta Medical Center in implementing hospital waste management that is not harmful to the planet and to the patients.
