Integrative Biology
The Ph.D. degree program in Integrative Biology which began in the fall of 2003, allows students to pursue interests across a number of fields including marine science, biomedical science, biotechnology and biology.

The Integrative Biology Ph.D. program is in the process of formalizing a Biomedical Science concentration option.  Students can currently complete a dissertation with a biomedical science faculty advisor through the Integrative Biology program (without a Biomedical Science designation on the transcript). All of the research faculty in the Department of Basic Science participate in this program and can serve as a major advisor for potential candidates.
