Krista Marin was born and raised in South Florida. She attended the University of Florida and received her teaching degree in special education. Krista extended her college education at UF and received a Masters in Early Childhood Education. For the past two years, Krista has taught first grade in Broward County.

Rebecca Levine was born and raised in Coral Springs, Florida. She received her teaching degree from the University of Florida in Elementary Education. Rebecca extended her college education at UF and received a Masters in Special Education. For the past three years, she has been a teacher in Broward County.

Hannah Darling was born and raised in Marietta, Ohio. She attended college at High Point University in North Carolina, where she graduated with her Bachelors degree in elementary education. The following year she received her Masters degree from High Point University in Elementary Education with a concentration in STEM. Hannah taught for one year in North Carolina while perusing her Masters. She moved to South Florida last year and taught in Broward County Schools.

Caitlin Guthrie is a born and raised Floridian having lived in Palm Beach Gardens her entire life. She received her Bachelors in Elementary Education from FAU and is thrilled to be working for her alma mater. Prior to teaching, she worked with sea turtles as a hospital technician and research assistant which she continues to do as a volunteer on the weekends. She married her husband Brett in 2011 and has a beautiful ten year old stepdaughter who she had the pleasure of legally adopting in 2015.

Kelli Wilder was born and raised in Coral Springs, Florida. She received her teaching degree from the University of Central Florida with a major in Elementary Education. Upon graduation, Kelli taught for two years in Seminole County, Orlando, while working towards her Masters in Teacher Leadership with a track in Gifted Education from the University of Central Florida. She moved back down to South Florida after finishing graduate school, and becoming certified in Exceptional Student Education. Kelli taught for two years in Broward County.

Stephanie Anderson has her roots in the Midwest, growing up primarily in Canton, Michigan. Stephanie was drawn to the field of education as she comes from a long line of teachers and administrators. By completing her Master's degree in Language arts with Elementary and Middle school certification at the University of Michigan, Stephanie was fortunate to teach at Key Biscayne K-8 Center for 9 years. With this rich foundation, Stephanie was able to thrive as an educator and was awarded "Rookie Teacher of the Year" her first year.

James Nance is a native of South Florida and received his degree from Florida Atlantic University. He had a multifaceted career in business and technology before joining Broward Schools 6 years ago. James has taught 8th grade Science as well as Engineering to all middle school levels. James has been honored as the Florida Atlantic University Broward SECME Coordinator of the Year and as a 2017 Broward Schools Teacher of the Year Finalist.

Jessica Baker was born in Miami and raised in Weston, Florida. She has taught as an English teacher for eleven years. After receiving her Master’s degree in Secondary English Education from the University of Florida. With the completion of her first year of teaching in Chicago, she moved back to Miami where she has taught English for the past ten years at Western High School in Davie, Florida. Jessica and her husband Jonathan are welcoming their first child, a baby boy, in December.

Christopher Clevenger is a South Florida native and life-long resident. He received his Bachelor of Science in Secondary Social Science Education from Nova Southeastern University. After graduation, Chris went on to teach at South Plantation High School, where he was named Teacher of the Year in 2014. During his time at South Plantation High School, Chris expanded the AP World History program, while also working with the College Board to develop the AP Capstone program curriculum.

Ida Williams grew up in North Miami Beach and spent her college years briefly studying Biology at the University of South Florida, Creative Writing at the University of Miami, and, finally, English Education at Florida International University. She taught Literature to high school seniors at all levels at Western High School in Davie for over ten years, chaired the English Department for four years, sponsored the Literary Magazine and the National Honors Society, and ran the Literary Fair.
